A year into the lockdowns I finally took a plane ride back home to visit family. The differences in our realities were eye-opening. In LA we had been shut down for almost a year, whereas the places I grew up had never completely shuttered. I took this opportunity to visit the places I grew up and combine them with the closed-off reality I had been part of. This film is shot digitally on the Fuji xt-3 & Kodak Zi-8.
